Our Programs
From foundational techniques to advanced sparring, we offer a diverse range of
classes to meet your needs.
BJJ Foundations (Gi)
Foundations focuses on the basic skills of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) including fundamental techniques of takedowns, takedown defense, and ground-based techniques. The curriculum cycles through all of the techniques we believe are essential for a beginner to master.
Wearing a gi increases the amount of offensive and defensive techniques available to the practitioner. Each class has a standing and ground component with a weekly theme, including situational sparring related to the techniques practiced.

No-Gi Foundations
No-Gi Foundations follows the theme from BJJ Gi Foundations but adjusts it for the difference in grips when a gi is not worn.
The structure of the classes is exactly the same as Gi Foundations, focusing on the same core principles of leverage and control, adapted for a faster-paced game.
Youth Class (Ages 8-13)
Our kids program is designed to help kids of all ages and physical abilities to develop their physical fitness, self defense capabilities, and self confidence. Our experienced instructors teach the basics of Jiu Jitsu and its various positions and techniques.
Jiu Jitsu is a great way for kids to learn practical self-defense skills and to stay healthy. It gives them the confidence and courage to go about their everyday lives without fear. This program is currently for 8-13 year olds.

Ham Dawgs! (Ages 5-8)
Our newest class for our youngest practitioners! The Ham Dawgs program is specifically designed for 5-8 year olds, focusing on fun, movement, and the very basics of Jiu Jitsu in a game-based learning environment.
We build a strong foundation of coordination, discipline, and respect while ensuring your child has a great time on the mats.
Live Sparring (Rolling)
This is where you get to test your skills! Live sparring, also known as rolling, is a fundamental practice in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu that allows practitioners to apply their techniques, strategies, and skills in a dynamic and realistic setting.
It is a crucial aspect of BJJ training as it simulates actual combat scenarios and helps practitioners develop their reflexes, timing, and adaptability under pressure.

Open Mat / Open Roll
The open mat brings in guests from outside the gym. You can do live sparring (we will set the timer), find a partner to drill with, sit on the side of the mat and chat with your buds, or all three.
Open mats are great because you get to meet new people and share jiu jitsu with each other in a relaxed, collaborative atmosphere.
